Basic-1 derivatives

Basic-1 is one of the brush I used a lot. This brush is solid and nice to draw simple shapes and doodles.
This is the original Basic-1 brush:

Here are some derivatives that I made from this brush (that is available by default):

Roundy Pen

The Basic-1 brush has equal starting and ending size. I modified it a little bit by making the size a little bit varied.
They get smaller on both tips, which mimics pen touching and leaving the paper. Like this:

Can you notice the dynamic line weight changes? :)

The parameters:

Note that although I adjusted the starting and ending size of the brush, it still has roundy shape. This is a personal preference.

Pointy Pen

This derivative has pointy end, just like this:

I still feel like it can be improved. But as I don't use this brush as often as Roundy Pen, I'll leave this as is for now.

Feel free to experiment by moving the graphs around.
Basic-5 has similar effect to this Pointy Pen derivative! It may be easier to start from Basic-5 instead for this style.

I believe this brush works the best with pen pressure detection activated.

Blobby Pen

This is to give blobby, uneven lines when drawing but still solid. What I mean by blobby:

Uneven textures, great for organic objects. Works well with pen pressure.

Feel free to experiment by moving the graphs around.
I use this brush to create quick shapes of objects in nature. e.g., clouds, bushes, and such - which are great with messy, blobby strokes.

This brush is solid and doesn't have transparency, but you can always play with opacity and flow numbers to make it softer and more transparent.
